WWE is reportedly considering adding multiple matches to Extreme Rules 2022; Bloodline members include

The card for Extreme Rules 2022 this Saturday is packed with exciting matches and looks full, but WWE could still add a few more bouts to the premium live event.

The company had reportedly discussed adding three matches in addition to the scheduled six. According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer newsletter, The Usos, The Miz and Damage CTRL were all considered for Extreme Rules 2022.

Meltzer reported that WWE considered adding Jimmy and Jay Uso to the show, where they would defend their undisputed Tag Team Championship. Meanwhile, the Women’s Tag Team Championship was also in the mix. The outlet also claimed that The Miz vs. Dexter Loomis was “too pushed” to be added to Extreme Rules 2022:

“This week nothing was done to set up the Usos Tag Title match, which was supposed to be the last week,” Meltzer wrote. “Io Skye and Dakota Kai have had incidents with both Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzie and Alexa Bliss and Asuka, although they did angle an injury to Asuka,” he continued. “The Miz vs. Dexter Loomis has been a big hit as well.” (h/t WrestleTalk)

WWE has one more episode of television left – before the show premieres tonight’s season of SmackDown. Perhaps, The Usos could announce an open challenge to their titles to ensure that Extreme Rules 2022 gets some “blood space”. It would be interesting if any other changes are made to the card at the last minute.

Which match will be the main event of WWE Extreme Rules 2022?

As far as the current matches are concerned, WWE has yet to announce which match will be titled Saturday’s premium live event. This raises the question- how will the show end? There are many options, with the decision likely to boil down to any potential surprises.

Bray Wyatt has been tipped to return to WWE as the man behind the White Rabbit mystery. If he makes an appearance at Extreme Rules 2022, he’ll likely be his first target in the main event, whether it’s Karen Cross, The Judgment Day or Matt Riddle.

Speaking of The Originals, UFC legend Daniel Cormier will be the special guest referee for his fight pit match against Seth Rollins. This has given rise to speculations that Brock Lesnar will meet DC after the match. If so, then Rollins vs Riddle will be the final match of the show.
