WWE fans around the world recently took to Twitter to share their thoughts on a possible match between Ronda Rousey and Raquel Rodriguez at next year’s Royal Rumble.
As previously reported, The Baddest Woman on the Planet is rumored to defend the SmackDown Women’s Championship against Rodriguez at the company’s event.
The pair last met in a singles match in May this year when Rousey successfully defended her title against the former NXT star. They locked horns once again later that month, but the bout was interrupted by Shayna Baszler and Natalya.
The two had been at loggerheads in recent weeks, with Rodriguez assisting Schottky in her battles against Rousey and Baszler. A few weeks back on SmackDown, the heel duo also injured Big Mammy Cool’s arm before a tag team match.

WWE legend has praised Ronda Rousey fiercely
Ronda Rousey has been one of the most prominent members of the WWE roster since making her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34. He teamed with Kurt Angle to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon on the show.
During a recent conversation with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Bill Apter, the Olympic gold medalist heaped praise for his former partner. The Hall of Famer also revealed his strategy to defeat The Rowdy One if the two ever collide in an intergender match:
“Ronda will be tough to wrestle. She has no weaknesses; the girl has everything. It’s amazing how quickly she got caught up in professional wrestling. So how do I wrestle her? Take her out as much as possible. I want her I’ll try to wear her down. And once I wear her down, she’ll be putty in my hands, and I’ll pin her down any way I want,” said Kurt Angle.
Ronda Rousey was recently joined by fellow MMA veteran Shayna Baszler. These two have wreaked havoc on the rest of the SmackDown roster and have been unstoppable in recent weeks.
