Roman Reigns and Triple H faced off in the main event of WrestleMania 32 for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. These two had a great storyline in the competition, and fans were expecting fireworks from the two.

Reigns was down and out during the match, while Stephanie McMahon came to the ring to see her husband, Triple H, arguing with the referee. The Big Dog had enough strength to land a spear on Triple H. However, the game fell by the wayside, putting Stephanie in the line of fire for purely entertainment purposes.

Roman’s Spear to Stefani drew a huge pop from over 100,000 fans at the venue. This was the first time fans saw Reigns take down a woman in WWE. Later speaking on the Sports Illustrated Media Podcast, The Tribal Chief revealed that Stephanie was none too pleased about getting speared by him.

“He took it like a champ. He did a great job, and I didn’t really take any physicality out of it. He took a full-on spear, and that’s what you’re supposed to do in the main event of WrestleMania. He clearly Was a little sad and not too happy about it, but I think after the main event of WrestleMania everyone goes through that process and the adrenaline rush of the performance and then excited to celebrate a phenomenal moment with a live audience Happens.” [h/t Sportzwiki]
