Why hasn’t Rhea Ripley wrestled much since returning to WWE?

Due to her association with The Judgment Day, Rhea Ripley has become one of the biggest stars on Raw, possibly even in WWE. Yet, he has only won a few matches recently.

On the June 6 episode of Monday Night Raw, Ripley won a fatal four-way match against Alexa Bliss, Dewdrop and Liv Morgan to become the number one contender to the Raw Women’s Championship. Her title match against Bianca Belair at Money in the Bank was canceled after the champion revealed that her opponent was medically unfit. She is then replaced by Carmella.

A month later, she returned from injury, helping her fellow Judgment Day members attack Mysterios. He has been with the group ever since and has helped them attack various superstars.

Rhea Ripley only returned to in-ring action in October during a house show, where she teamed with Damian Priest to take on Dolph Ziggler and Nikki Cross.

Ripley had her first on-screen match in NXT where she defeated Roxanne Perez. Her first fight on the main roster was against Asuka on the recent episode of Raw. Ripley won, resulting in the advantage for his team at Survivor Series.

Rhea Ripley told the New York Post that she hasn’t wrestled a lot of matches because she hasn’t been fully cleared to compete in a while. She was given the green light just a week before her NXT match. She also shared that her duties came in the way with Judgment Day.

“A lot of it was injury. I wasn’t cleared for the longest time. I think I was properly and fully recovered a week before my NXT match (on October 18). Also, I pretty much ‘I didn’t’ that whole time (four months). After that there was no opportunity for me to wrestle because I’ve been there with Judgment Day and their kind of shows…,” she said.

Rhea Ripley is in for an exciting match at WWE Survivor Series WarGames
Four teams will clash in a WarGames match for Survivor Series on November 26, 2022. The Bloodline will face The Brawling Brutes (with Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens) for the men’s division.

For the women’s division, Rhea Ripley will return to premium live event action as she teams with Damage CTRL and Nikki Cross against Bianca Belair, Asuka, Alexa Bliss, Mia Yim and yet-to-be-named surprise stars.

It will be really interesting to see how Rhea Ripley will perform at Survivor Series as she was one of the first contestants in history to compete in a women’s WarGames match.
