AJ Styles is one of the WWE Superstars who has had a strong start in the company but his current performance is not that impressive. Although he has been active for the past few years, it has been a long time since his last win during a premium live event.
The Phenomenal One made his debut in the promotion in 2016 as a surprise competitor for that year’s Royal Rumble. He quickly rose through the various titles in the company and faced the biggest names such as John Cena and The Undertaker. However, this success seemed long ago.
The Phenomenal One’s latest premium live event was this year’s Crown Jewel, where he teamed with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, but were defeated by The Judgment Day. Styles’ latest singles match was at this year’s WrestleMania Backlash, where Edge defeated him once again.
Amazingly, AJ Styles’ last winning singles match in PLE came at Crown Jewel 2019. He successfully defended the United States Championship against Humberto Carrillo during the event.
Unfortunately, the Raw star lost the title to Rey Mysterio a month later. Although he was not successful as a singles competitor during the events, he won The O.C. Picked up some victories during tag team matches with. And Om too.
Former WWE Writer Believes AJ Styles Should Win His Upcoming Match At Survivor Series: WarGames
O.C. and The Judgment Day relationship did not go down well and fans have seen both teams attack each other on various episodes of the Red Brand. Nevertheless, the upcoming Survivor Series event would only feature a singles match between AJ and Finn Balor with their stablemates at ringside.
According to former WWE Head Writer Vince Russo, he believed that a team led by Finn Balor would win, but it would be nice to see AJ Styles get another win after so many years.
“They’re obviously going with Judgment Day. But, though, bro, if AJ hasn’t won a singles match on a pay-per-view in a long time, this is his chance to win because he’s going to be a finalist.” Used to be.” in the singles.” beats. “I’m losing.” So the match isn’t really a Judgment Day beat. So if it was me because I didn’t know that bro, he’s been gone for so long, you got to do it this time AJ gotta win bro”
