Donald Trump is making headlines again after his account was recovered on Twitter, as well as the fact that he announced his intention to run for the US presidency again in 2024. WWE Hall of Famer Sgt. Slaughter was full of praise for Russian leader Vladimir Putin while condemning him.
It needs little elaboration why Putin has been Public Enemy #1 for many people around the world. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine spanned a year, drawing criticism and sanctions from people and governments around the world.
When Bill Apter of Sportskeeda Wrestling asked what Sgt. Slaughter reflects on the current situation, saying he does not believe the United States is doing enough to help Ukraine against Russia. He praised former President Donald Trump while condemning Putin:
“Well, it makes me a little angry that we (the United States) aren’t doing more to help Ukraine. I know we’re helping with arms supplies and all that. When it comes to that get to the point where we should have done that [before] and that nuclear bomb could explode,
we never know with a person like [Vladimir] Putin. We never trusted him, we never looked at him He didn’t. Former President [Donald] Trump kept a very good eye on him. Now it seems he’s out of control and no one can stop him. (2:33-3:13)
Donald Trump fired WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg years ago
Bill Goldberg, another fellow WWE Hall of Famer, revealed a surprising story about Donald Trump. Goldberg was once fired from the famous show ‘The Apprentice’ and looked back on his miserable experience with Donald Trump:
“Did you know I tried to get fired from The Apprentice from day one? It was one of the saddest experiences I’ve ever had,” Goldberg admitted. “That was a piece of work, man, I knew dude wasn’t going to be the most popular guy in the world when I found out he really had no social skills. Like, zero… you go up and You shook his hand, and he had no social skills. He didn’t know how to interact with a person face-to-face. He was uncomfortable.
