“Playing With The Bloodline” – Twitter Flares After WWE’s Top Faction Makes Iconic Entrance Of The Shield On Raw

WWE fans took to social media to share their thoughts on The Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre recreating The Shield’s iconic entrance on Raw.

On the latest episode of Raw, Kevin Owens revealed that he has invited some of the SmackDown stars to the flagship show. Drew McIntyre and The Brawling Brutes then made their way through the crowd to the ring, reminiscent of The Shield.

Fans noted the similarity between the two entrances as they shared their thoughts on SmackDown stars recreating the entrances of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns nearly ten years after the trio debuted.

So the animals and pictures just serve as a shield and I don’t even know how to feel about that #Wweraw

The Brawling Brutes were also in action on Raw, when they faced off against The Judgment Day in a six-man tag team match. The babyfaces picked up the win after Sheamus delivered the ten beats of Bodhran on Dominik after The Brogue Kick.

Ronda Rousey chose The Shield over The Bloodline in WWE
The Shield and The Bloodline are two of the most influential factions in WWE history, making it difficult for many to choose between the two.

However, Ronda Rousey took the side of the trio of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns when presented with a choice during one of her live streams on YouTube.

“Shield,” said Rousey. “I love The Bloodline, but I first started watching WWE when The Shield was coming out, so I have a special place in my heart for them.” [h/t-wrestling]

While both groups have been critically acclaimed, they have their differences. The Bloodline version of Roman Reigns is one of the most dominant champions in pro wrestling history, with The Usos being the longest reigning tag team champions.

However, as a group, the Hounds of Justice were equally dominant as they defeated many of the top stars in their early days.

All five members of The Bloodline will be in action for the first time at Survivor Series this weekend, where they will take on The Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre and Kevin Owens. The group will have the chance to further cement its legacy as it competes within the WarGames framework for the first time.
