Update on Roman Reigns’ status for a premium live event next year

Roman Reigns is absent from the promotion for next year’s Elimination Chamber premium live event.

WWE recently released a poster for the 2023 Elimination Chamber event on their social media platforms. The show will go live from the Bell Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on February 18, 2023.

Several of the company’s biggest stars graced the poster for the event, including: Seth RollinsBobby LashleyLiv MorganDrew McIntyreKevin OwensBianca BlairSammi Jane

A notable exception to the poster is the undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

The company usually puts its biggest stars on promotional posters, only to remove them from the ad a few days before the show if they are not booked for it. The absence of the Tribal Chief from the poster roughly four months ago shows that WWE is clear in their plans to take Roman out of the show.

At the most recent premium live event, Crown Jewel, on November 5, Reigns defended his title against Logan Paul.

If Roman does appear at the Elimination Chamber event, he will probably defend his belt in a title bout. But with a potential blockbuster match at WrestleMania 39, WWE could rest them for any big match to showcase The Immortals.

The WWE Championship should be considered. The match should be booked. Show on the return of Randy.
