The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns recently defeated Logan Paul in a thrilling match at the Crown Jewel Premium live event on November 5, 2022. Maverick gave the performance of a lifetime, but still missed out on a world title shot from The Tribal Chief.
Reigns is currently on an incredible winning streak. He has already defeated Brock Lesnar, Matt Riddle and Drew McIntyre. Such is the dominance of The Head of the Table that WWE may be running out of challengers for him. Therefore, it has not yet been revealed by the promotion who will face Reigns next.
The company teased a possible match between Roman Reigns and Sheamus on SmackDown last week. The Celtic Warriors returned from injury and joined Butch and Ridge Holland to take on The Bloodline.
Bloodline had the numbers advantage until Drew McIntyre came to the fore and leveled the odds. Friday’s clash may have planted the seed for a WarGames match between The Bloodline and Drew McIntyre and The Brawling Brutes.
Roman Rance has already defeated McIntyre in Clash at the Castle, so Sheamus is being considered as the contender for The Head of the Table. Both are not strangers to each other. In fact, The Celtic Warrior gave Reigns his first credible win for the WWE Championship in 2015.
Roman Reigns to face The Rock at WrestleMania 39
Since turning heel in 2020 and teaming up with Paul Heyman, Reigns has presented himself as the head of the table. The alliance completely cemented his character and turned him into the huge attraction he is today.
The Undisputed WWE Universal Champion has released several teases for a future showdown against The Rock. The two cousins could have a dream match at WrestleMania 39.
The Great One may be The Tribal Chief’s biggest challenger yet, but WWE’s top star has proven time and time again that he is at his best under the mic and in the ring.
Bloodline will be on SmackDown this week to potentially set up the Survivor Series WarGames main event. Now it has to be seen who will be the fifth and last member of Team Sheamus.
