Charlotte Flair has been on a break from WWE since May.
The return of top WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has long been on fans’ minds for most of 2022. Recently, her father, Ric Flair, and brother-in-law, Conrad Thompson, have been discussing her possible return.
Charlotte’s last match on WWE TV was at WrestleMania Backlash on May 8, where she lost the SmackDown Women’s Title to Ronda Rousey in an I Quit match. Since then, the 36-year-old star has taken some time off from business to marry her longtime partner and fellow wrestler Andrade El Idolo.
On his To Be The Man podcast, Ric Flair was asked if he knew when his daughter would make her much anticipated return to WWE. The Nature Boy said that he has no idea as Rani keeps everything to herself.
“Honestly, I have no idea. She keeps everything to herself. I know she’s talking to the company, but I don’t know much more. If I did, I’ll let you know anyway ” Can’t tell she does not. Trust me I can tell you anything because I can’t keep my mouth shut.”
Conrad Thompson has said that the former SmackDown and Raw Women’s Champion has no injuries preventing her return.
“You and I know that physically, she’s fine. Emotionally, she’s fine. Sharing is her business. But I guess I wanted to record anything with Charlotte Flair.” not wrong. He’s all right.” [h/t Wrestling News]
With the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania season fast approaching, the WWE Universe will be hoping that the Queen will be back in time for a showdown of the show to inject herself into a big match.
Charlotte Flair Apologizes After Not Signing Autographs
This past weekend, the SmackDown star was scheduled to sign autographs in New York, however, due to an unknown reason, she could not attend to meet her fans.
After this, Charlotte Flair apologized to her supporters on social media, saying that she misses the WWE Universe a lot.
“Hey guys! I was so excited to see everyone in @bigeventny with @FitermanSports this weekend, but I haven’t been able to sign. I promise I’ll see you soon. I want to see you all Am.” I miss you.”
Since making her WWE debut in 2012, the second generation star has become one of the company’s most successful stars to date, holding 14 women’s world title titles and a Royal Rumble win and an appearance at the WrestleMania main event.
