This Friday night on WWE SmackDown, The Bloodline has the potential to break a huge record set five years ago. This will only be possible if The Usos win their next match.
The Usos defeated The Mysterios to win the SmackDown Tag Team Championship at Money in the Bank 2021. His fifth reign proved prestigious. Not only did he defeat crowd-favorite RK-Bro at this year’s WrestleMania, but he also defeated them for the Raw Tag Team Titles on the May 20 edition of SmackDown.
Jimmy and Jay Uso are now considered the undisputed tag team champions. His 481-day reign is the second longest Men’s Tag Team Championship reign in WWE history. The New Day trio of Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E top the list with 483 days.
This record cannot last long. The Bloodline is aiming for absolute glory on the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown. While Roman Reigns completes 800 days as champions, Jimmy and Jay Uso will face Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods for the most impressive tag team title ever.
After their big win over The Brawling Brutes at Crown Jewel, The Usos are heading into this fierce competition.
The two teams are no strangers, having fought on several occasions, including a Hell match in a Cell. Jimmy and Jay won that match but not without a knockout.
The Bloodline could face some unexpected challenges on WWE SmackDown
The upcoming main event is being promoted as the biggest performance of its weekly show. Records will be broken, and The Bloodline may find a new challenger stepping up to its tyranny.
Braun Strowman teamed up with The Bloodline to team up with The Power of Positivity on the recent House show. He was instrumental in the group’s victory at Roman Reigns’ Stables and even started the winning streak. Is the Experimental Center alluding to major shenanigans for the upcoming fight?
The Bloodline leader also needs a new opponent after dealing with Logan Paul. Roman Reigns was rumored to be at an event with Sheamus, but Sheamus later took a hiatus to get married. Still, their puppets Butch and Ridge Holland could play a bad game for a title fight on WWE SmackDown.
Indianapolis, Indiana, US The Gainbridge Fieldhouse area will host the next episode of SmackDown. Tune in to WWE Network to watch the live action.
