Despite being one of the best performers in WWE, John Cena’s ability to enter the ring has always been questioned. AJ Styles recently shared his experience working with Cena and how he was stunned by his skills.
After making his WWE debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, Styles’ first feud against the 16-time world champion was a dream match for many fans. With AJ being considered one of the coolest stars in the business, many were wondering if Cena would be able to hang out with the Phenomenal One.
Speaking on The Halftime Show, the multi-time WWE Champion spoke about Cena’s skillful mindset as a wrestler and said he had some great matches with him.
“One guy who surprised me with how good he was in the ring would be John Cena. John isn’t known for being the technical mastermind in the ring, but he’s great. I’ve played some better matches against this guy. According to how his mind works and changes everything. He’s just cool. He knows what he’s doing. It’s one of those things that got you thinking, ‘I’m in the ring’ I’m a better wrestler,’ but once you get in there with John Cena, you know, ‘Okay, well, I didn’t know that. In Cena’s third match against AJ Styles at the 2017 Royal Rumble, he captured his record of 16th World Championship tie tied with Ric Flair.

2022 Looks like it’s the first year since 2001 that the leader of the Senation hasn’t seen a match for WWE, with his commitment to Hollywood now his number one priority.
However, the 45-year-old may be ready to take part in next April at WrestleMania in Los Angeles. Speaking to Louis Dangur of Givemysport, WrestleVotes explained that “Cena should be there, and Cena should be wrestling”.
WrestleVotes reported, “I know he touches base every now and then, and although Vince’s picture is missing, Cena still loves this spot. John Cena and Triple H have respect for each other.” We do.”
During his time as a full-time WWE Superstar, Cena headlined WrestleMania on five occasions, facing top stars such as Triple H, The Rock, and Shawn Michaels.
