The fourth edition of WWE Crown Jewel 2022 is the next step in business in its premium live event schedule. This will be the second Crown Jewel to be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after the inaugural 2018 event.
Several blockbuster matches will be written for the show on Saturday 5th November. Brock Lesnar will take on Bobby Lashley, while Omos and Braun Strowman will prepare for a spectacular performance. Roman Reigns will defend his undisputed WWE Universal Title against Logan Paul.
There could be some surprising character changes in the upcoming event. In this list, we’ll take a look at three superstars who could be heels and two who could be babyfaces at WWE Crown Jewel 2022.
#5. Nikki Cross becomes a heel after defeating Bianca Belair at the Raw Women’s Championship
SmackDown Hotel notes that Nikki Cross has been a tweener ever since she dropped her superhero costume. His attacks on Bianca Belair and Bayley on live events including Raw exposed him as a dangerous component in the upcoming Crown Jewel match.
The general belief is that Crown Jewel will pay Cross for Bailey’s title fight in 2022. However, WWE can deliver a blow and put a lot of heat on Nikki. After another attack on both competitors, Bailey may actually be the last woman standing, thanks to the support of damaged CTRL members.
WWE hasn’t had a good history with the Twins in recent times. This reflects his lack of plans for a character as marked by The Fiend’s run-in with Alexa Bliss. Nikki Cross can still do wonders as a heel, though not with an A.S.H gimmick.
#4. MVP’s face changed after joining Braun Strowman
The Ballin Superstar has been on Omos’ side since becoming a heel with Bobby Lashley in April. Though he has been a good manager and mentor, the seven-foot giant is yet to make an impact on the main roster.
Lately, Omos has been on a downward trend. He lost a feud against Bobby Lashley and also drowned in Money in the Bank. It could be difficult for the MVP to cope with his failures, such as a loss at Crown Jewel 2022 that could see him move to Braun Strowman.
On the latest episode of Raw, the MVP said he had a surprise for Strowman. If it fails at Crown Jewel 2022, expect the 49-year-old star to collaborate as babyface with The Monster of All Monsters.
#3. Bobby Lashley wins after losing to Brock Lesna
The violent side of Bobby Lashley has been seen in the last few weeks. In addition to the brawl on Raw, All-Mighty crushed Brock Lesnar through a table to make a statement to the audience.
WWE has done well in showcasing Lashley’s peak abilities. However, the prospects of Crown Jewel’s performance are in favor of Lesnar’s return. The Beast Incarnate has already lost its United States title to Lashley and a win could fuel the latter’s anger.
Trapped, Bobby Lashley can ruthlessly attack Lesnar after the match. He can destroy the Ring and everything in his path to clearly hint at a future heel turn.
#2. Bayley may signal babyface turn after another loss to Bianca Belair
Terms of Last Woman Standing are usually introduced to end fights. Given that Bailey and Bianca Belair have been at each other’s throats since last year, Crown Jewel 2022 could be the stage for their final performance.
WWE is most likely to continue to dominate EST. Alexa Bliss and Asuka have confirmed that Babyface is going to rule the brand by winning the Red Tag Titles. This loss is potentially bad news for CTRL.
Bailey may finally accept her opponent at Crown Jewel 2022 after a string of losses to Bianca Belair. By shaking hands, she can signal a face turn. Frustrated Bailey can also blame IYO SKY and Dakota Kai for her defeat.
Signs of a decline in CTRL damage have recently been observed. The coalition is now devoid of glory and it is only a matter of time before a member moves to the bright side.
#1. Logan Paul could become a heel after losing to Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel 2022
That “one lucky shot” may not be the end of Roman Reigns’ historic title reign. Tribal Chief has run the company for over two years and is arguably irreplaceable at this point in time.
WWE fans believe that Logan Paul is the fodder for Reigns at a time when the company lacks capable challengers. Bray Wyatt and Carrion Cross are in the development stage. Also, potential WrestleMania plans for The Rock vs. Roman Reigns have been put on hold for as long as they can.
This Crown Jewel makes Logan Paul’s victory against Roman Reigns almost impossible in 2022. In defeat, The Maverick can captivate audiences. A Heel Turn Would Be Nice For The YouTube Sensation Because He’s A Natural Heat Magnet Because Of His Cone
