Former WWE Superstar Fred Rosser (fka Darren Young) recently revealed that he wants to dress up as John Cena for the New Japan Pro-Wrestling event.
Darren Young was part of the Nexus faction and captured the tag titles with Titus O’Neill as the Prime Time Players.
Speaking on the Insider’s Edge: A Pro Wrestling podcast, Fred said he wanted to dress up as a black John Cena at the NJPW Halloween show in New York tonight.
“I don’t know how it happened, I’m Black John Cena, but it’s funny. New Japan Strong is doing a show in New York, a Halloween show, and I’m thinking about dressing up as Black John Cena so we’ll see at the new japan strong show how it goes You know, I have my own version of it, so we’ll see if I do it,” Fred said.
John Cena has recently reacted twice for people dressing like him. One fan acted as DC’s peacemaker for Halloween, and another fan dressed as Cena and ran a marathon. It will be interesting to see when the Doctor of Thugnomics returns to WWE in the near future.
