“He Can Move On From Roman [Reigns]” – Twitter Reacts To Drew McIntyre Expressing His Desire To Face The 35-Year-Old WWE Star

The WWE Clash at Castle Premium live event saw a memorable battle between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns. The Scottish warrior has now set his sights on a different prize.

During a recent Best of 2022 video package, Drew McIntyre named Gunther as one of his dream opponents for 2023 and the Intercontinental Championship as a prize he wants to reclaim.

McIntyre said, “I have my eyes on Gunther with the Intercontinental Championship. I see the chats on social media, I see what happened to him and Sheamus, I see the fights.” “I love competition, I’m a former Intercontinental Champion and I would love to spar with that guy.” [h/t: Wrestling Inc]
Gunther and Sheamus had a series of great matches in 2022. Fans speculated about a possible debut singles match between the Scottish star and the current Intercontinental Champion following the former’s recent comments.

@reigns_era Drew McIntyre vs Gunther would be a blast. But what if sheamus was on the radar too and it would be gunther vs drew vs sheamus

@reigns_era I would never refuse it.
However, not everyone was excited about the match. Some were wary of the former WWE Champion, who is currently nursing an injury, missing another big fight after coming up short against Roman Reigns in Cardiff.

@reigns_era That’s why I’m so disappointed. Wasting no time taking down another El Drew should be in the world title scene. Hell, shake things up and make him go for a monster heel run. The template is there. Drew, in ICW, was the original “wipe everybody out and leave.”

Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey Shares A Story About Drew McIntyre
Ronda Rousey recently joked about borrowing Drew McIntyre’s sword for an impromptu match against Natalya. She uploaded the vlog to her YouTube channel, where she talks about cosplaying as Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z.

“I have to take out my Future Trunks jacket and obviously I don’t have a giant sword to go with it which would have been cool if I had a Future Trunks sword but you know let’s see if Drew McIntyre has me Let’s borrow sh*t. Just kidding, that’s a different sword. [from 2:00 to 2:14]
The former UFC megastar lost the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair on the latest episode of WWE SmackDown. Ronda defeated Raquel Rodriguez in a physical match, after which Queen made her return.

Charlotte challenges the baddest woman on the planet. She delivered a pump kick and countered an arm bar with a rollup to pick up the win and become a 14-time Women’s Champion.
