Female WWE Superstars say ‘goodbye’ on Twitter; Becky Lynch shares video of win against Alexa Bliss and others

WWE Superstar and former Raw Women’s Champion Asuka’s latest tweet has left fans stunned.

Asuka has been teasing the character change for the past few days. Judging by her recent Twitter posts, she has been teasing a return of the infamous ‘Kana’ gimmick that she featured in Japan.

Minutes ago, Asuka shared a one-word message for her fans: ‘Goodbye.’ The message was accompanied by a YouTube video of Asuka’s greatest victories against Becky Lynch, Bayley, Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

How are WWE fans reacting to Asuka’s message on Twitter?
Many fans have been watching Asuka’s recent tweets and know that she is teasing a character change. His latest tweet had other fans worried and confused.

Asuka, 41, is one of the biggest female wrestlers. She’s been a WWE mainstay for over seven years at this point and has accomplished enough to earn a Hall of Fame spot in the not too distant future.

Asuka won the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018, held the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase, and won the Singles Women’s Titles on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.

Last year, Asuka spoke with ET Canada about the goals she still has left to achieve in the Stamford-based promotion. Here’s what he said:

“People all over the world are watching WWE. My goal in WWE is for as many people as possible to know me. As an Asian, I want to share the wonderful cultures of Japanese and Asian people.” [h/t Pro Wrestling]

A quick look at Kana’s character is enough to make fans wonder if it’s fit to be featured on weekly TV. Only time will tell if Asuka is able to bring the popular gimmick back to the company.
