The Sensation Leader’s acting career began in 2006 when he played the lead role in a film produced by WWE Studios, The Marine. His first major role in the film franchise began in 2018 when he played the lead role in the Transformers spin-off film Bumblebee. The following year, he joined the cast of one of the world’s biggest film franchises.
John Cena’s most successful venture in films was arguably Fast & Furious 9 in 2021, where he portrayed Jacob Toretto, the brother of Vin Diesel’s character Dominic Toretto.
The film grossed an impressive $726.2 million worldwide at the box office. However, his success in television should not be forgotten.
The WWE star joins the Suicide Squad in the DCU in 2021 as Peacemaker, which later gets its own TV show. In January, the show was named the world’s most sought-after original streaming TV series. This was followed by the announcement of the first season finale of Peacemaker as the biggest single-day opening for a Max Original Series.

Due to the success of Peacemaker, the TV show was renewed for a second season. It looks like Cena may also be seen in the 10th installment of the Fast and Furious franchise.
John Cena wants The Rock to work with him on Peacemaker TV show season 2
Dwayne Johnson is also one of the most famous and successful superstar turned Hollywood actor. The Rock and The Sensation Leader have faced each other inside the ring before, but it looks like the latter wants to share the screen with him as well.
In a previous interview with People Magazine, John Cena talked about the possibility of appearing on The Great One’s second season of Peacemaker and shared that it would be an honor to star alongside his former rival. However, the 16-time world champion said it was a decision he had no control over.
“I would say the same thing every time with possibilities like the universe … It would be an honor and a privilege to be able to perform with him. I think there’s still a passionate market out there that wants to see him. But I’m sorry.” Well, man, it’s not my choice, so I don’t know. It’s too far away from me. It’s beyond my control.”
