Roman Reigns’ recent run has been full of dominance as he continues to be the biggest star in WWE. However, that could change in the near future with rumors swirling of him giving up one of his world titles.
Since capturing the Universal Championship at Payback 2020, the Tribal Chief has been able to rise to the top in WWE.
With Reigns going into WrestleMania season as the Undisputed Universal Champion, fans have wondered whether he can hold on to both world titles. Zero News has provided a possible update that Roman Reigns could still hold both the championships after ‘Mania. However, there has been a pitch to potentially split the titles and vacate one in the draft.
“Roman has talked about splitting the titles only after ‘Frenzy’ vacating the title in the draft. As has been reporting for a while now. Also outside of Roman’s use of [the title ] There are no other talks/plans to leave the draft to do so. 3 sources have said this.”
The only thing Roman did about splitting the titles is Mania vacating the title in a post-draft.
As have been reporting for some time now.
Other than that there are no other talks/plans to leave outside Roman to use the draft to do so.
It looks like there could be a real possibility of Roman Reigns winning both titles at WrestleMania 39 and leaving the show as the Undisputed World Champion.
WWE legend on Roman Reigns may face three stars in Fatal Four Way match at WrestleMania 39
Vince Russo believes Triple H could book Roman Reigns against three other opponents in a fatal four-way match at WrestleMania 39.
It has been rumored for quite some time that The Rock could return to face the Tribal Chief at this year’s ‘Mania. However, it seems that his comeback plans are still unconfirmed considering his busy schedule. Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes has emerged as a potential alternate challenger.
Russo discussed the situation with Russo writing on Sportskeeda and stated that Rhodes is not the most viable challenger for Reigns. The former writer then explained that he would get three megastars in the form of John Cena, Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar to lock horns with Roman Reigns in The Rock’s absence.
Russo said, “I’m telling you, if I find out The Rock can’t do it for whatever reason, I will book it, because it’s not Cody Rhodes for WrestleMania.” “Not a single casual fan is going to care about that, bro. What I’m doing at that point is I’m doing a four corner, and I’m doing Reigns, Austin, John Cena and Brock Lesnar.”
