Judgment Day along with The Bloodline have been one of the dominant stables in the company. Meanwhile, the WWE Universe looks to have a group change after WrestleMania 39, when they will potentially replace Dominik Mysterio with JD McDonagh.
Earlier this year, Judgment Day underwent significant changes when they dropped Edge from the group. The faction later convinced Dominik Mysterio to join the group, betraying his father in the process.
A few days earlier, Dominik was arrested when he and Rhea Ripley tried to attack Rey Mysterio once again at his parents’ home. The WWE Universe thinks father and son will finally reconcile after a potential match at WrestleMania that will see JD McDonagh join the stable.
.@jd_mcdonagh just debuted the brand new #WWENXT at war with @JuliusCreedWWE on @USA_Network!
Dominic Mysterio vs Rey Mysterio. This is definitely a lock for mania. Don’t be surprised if Ray takes retirement.
Ray will eliminate his son. Dominik turns babyface.
The following night on Raw, Dom was eliminated from Judgment Day. Replaced by JD McDonagh.
I still have a feeling Triple H is going to drag JD McDonagh to #WWERAW to join him at #JudgementDay eventually. Or Finn Balor facing Jordan Devlin.
@jd_mcdonagh i can totally see you being involved in judgment day i mean you have all these amazing talents you know all the weak spots in the body and you know how to manipulate them and The key is to use them to your advantage, you all have these amazing talents. d will be well spent on the day of judgment

Fans speculate that Dominik Mysterio’s time with the stable could end after WrestleMania 39, which could allow McDonagh, Finn Bálor’s real-life alter ego, to join the nefarious stable.
Finn Balor once defeated JD McDonagh at the WWE UK Takeover event at Judgment Day
In 2019, NXT UK was a newly established brand that thrived on superstars from the UK and its surrounding regions. WWE later announced its first UK-based TakeOver event, which was held in Blackpool.
The show was supposed to feature a match between Jordan Devlin (aka JD McDonagh) and Travis Banks. However, Devlin and Banks got into a fight before the show. Because of this, Banks got injured and was taken out of the event.
Devlin came out and bragged about his actions until NXT UK General Manager Johnny Saint introduced Finn Balor as Devlin’s new opponent for the night. The bout marked Balor’s first appearance on the brand.
The teacher-student dynamic worked in his favor and fans were excited to see Balor at the opening of the NXT UK Premium live event. In the end, Balor won after hitting Devlin with a coup de grace for the win.
